Journey with me as I contemplate the joy and pain associated with the sand between my toes. There is joy in the beauty and awe that the beach and ocean present. The serenity and softness of the warm sun, ocean breeze, salt air and soft sand, is comforting. The awesome strength of the crashing waves, the unpredictable currents and the shifting tides give me pause in a world that is bigger than myself. I am drawn to this place, it is where I feel the most “me”, and where I am most stirred to seek the creator of such beauty and strength….
